About the hat:
A simple beauty, but exquisitely full of details. Ridges and lacework run around the
back perimeter and it is embellished with two tassels.
This is a beautiful, soft and luscious combination of the finest Alpaca, Silk
and Merino in a lovely Cream color. Warm yet delicately light. It is one of the few hats that I
make that is totally crochet and one of the few designs I will do in a solid
colour.
The hat measures approx. 11" (27.9 cm) when laid flat (at the widest point and
approx. 8" (20.3 cm) from top to the point right above the ridges. For
reference, the mannequin head is 21" (53.3 cm). There is stretch due to its
construction and it can fit a variety of sizes. My head measures approx. 24"
with all of my hair and it fits wonderfully. Please measure your head and send
me your measurements if you have a question about whether this hat will fit you.
It is a stunning statement, but remember....it can cause "Specialness" and you
will always have to be ready for that!
